Burke

Sorry haven't posted more pics of my little man. Here is one of him 1/2 smiling. He is such a sweet baby (except when I'm on the computer) Like right now he is fussing and squirming in my lap. Anyways, last week at the doc he weighed 10.14 lbs. So he is trying hard to catch up to his sister so he can torment her.

The Flu Sucks!!

Poor Adalyn has the flu, or so we think. She ran a 104 last night and today off and on. Luckily, my mom was on standby and came over first thing this morning to help take care of her. I don't know what we would have done.
At moments when she would feel better she would chase us around the house with her "bugs". Right now she is feeling much better but she has done this sever times. She is on Tamiflu so pray it works. Really pray that baby goose doesn't get it. Especially since Daddy leaves tomorrow to take his orals. Good Luck Jeff. Hope you didn't get the bugs.

Baby Goose

Finally here is a pic of Burke. I think he has already changed from this pic. He is still a great baby and rarely cries. Well as long as his big sister isn't carrying him around the house, pulling his ears, or trying to shove a pacifer in his mouth. They already have screaming fights. But atleast most of the time Adalyn is very good to him, except when she gets bored. I guess he is an easy target!

Where is Adalyn?

Is this girl ready for Disney World or what? This is only 1/2 the dolls she sleeps with at night. Hey, whatever it takes. I'd let Burke sleep with these too if he'd make a few extra hours!

Grammer

Ok. To all yall, I don't know why I can't get the punctuation or grammer right on this blog. I DO know better, I promise but for some reason it just publishes wrong. And no I'm not going back to fix everything so it will just have to drive you crazy. Sorry. But it does drive me a little crazy too!

Pizza Man

So the other night Adalyn was asking Jeff for pizza. The conversation follows like this:
Daddy can the pizzaman come?
Sure . Does he come a lot?
Yeah, and he brings me lots of candy?
The pizza man brings you lots of candy.
Yeah, lots of candy Yumm yummm.
I like the pizza man.

Don't know where this girl comes up with this stuff. I'm craving nerds. Maybe I should call him to come over.

Harvey Survived!

Ok, I'm sitting here typing with one hand b/c for some reason the only time Burke is fussy is when I am on the computer. Adalyn is teaching him well on all the things that take attention away from them.
Anyways yesterday I took Adalyn out to play on her swingset and within 5 minutes Harvey starts throwing up and gaging. After watching him for a few minutes, he then starts vomiting blood and acting like he can't breathe. I'm sitting there watching thinking how do I give a dog CPR. I really thought he was going to die right in front of us. So I start calling people. My dad was in jackson and my mom at the movies. So then what. How I am going to lift a 70 lb dog into my truck? So withing a couple minutes I threw the kids in the car and drug him to the back. Loaded them up and drove as fast as I could to the vet.
At some point I got my mom and she and MiMi meet me at the vet. (Sorry yall missed the ending, I'll treat you to another movie). Jeff luckily had finished clinic and rushed over. Poor Harvey hadn't gotten any attention lately and had been begging to go to grandparent's houses. I guess he figured since that didn't work he'd get them to come to him. The vet wasn't sure what was wrong but watched him and drew labs. He seems fine today.
As soon as we walk out the vets Adalyn pees all over herself. In the chaos I forget she was in panties the whole time and didn't ask her to go potty. Opps. She handled it well as was excited that she got to ride home naked. Hopefully she won't be too traumatized from seeing Harvey sick. She obesses over that dog! I am impressed that we did get out of the house all dressed and to the vet in less than 5 minutes. It's amazing what you can do when you have too? Usually it takes us two hours to get out of the house!
